New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday reacted to the Centre s move to clear the way for foreign-made vaccines to tackle the spread of Covid-19, days after his suggestion. Russia-made Sputnik V received India s drug regulator DGCI s nod for emergency use on Tuesday.
Giving a take on the same, Gandhi said on Twitter, “First they ignore you then they laugh at you then they fight you, then you win.”
Maharashtra is the most affected state with the pandemic in India currently and the number of corona patients in India’s capital, Delhi, is increasingly growing. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, while addressing the state on Tuesday, had announced the implementation of Section 144 for 15 days in the entire state under the name ‘Break the Chain.’ He said that people will not come out of the houses unnecessarily and the exemption will be available only for essential services.
Maha CM has not imposed any restriction on transport services. At the same time, Maha government has also announced to give food grains free of cost to the ration cardholders. It has been decided by the state government to give Shivbhojan free for one month to underprivileged people of Maharashtra.

New Delhi [India], April 14 (ANI): The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has surpassed 11 crore-mark on the fourth day of the Tika Utsav or vaccination festival, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) said on Wednesday.
The four-day-long vaccination programme Tika Utsav started on Sunday with an aim to inoculate the maximum number of eligible people against the coronavirus.
According to the health ministry, cumulatively 11,11,79,578 vaccine doses have been administered through 16,53,488 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. Over 40 lakh vaccination doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

Instead, the state has an affirmative obligation to facilitate access to education, at all levels, the bench said in its judgement delivered on April 9.
