Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 5 (ANI): MaharashtraGovernorBhagat Singh Koshyari on Monday received his second shot of the COVID-19 vaccine at Sir J J Group of Hospital in Mumbai.
The Governor had taken the first dose of the vaccine at the same hospital on March 5.
Meanwhile, a certificate was presented to the Governor for completing the course of the vaccination.
Director of Medical Education and Research, Dr T P Lahane, Dean of Sir J J Group of Hospitals, Dr Ranjit Mankeshwar, and Medical Superintendent Dr Sanjay Surase were prominent among those present.

Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare addressed the 40th anniversary of AGE-CARE India and the Elders Day celebrations at the India International Centre, here on Sunday. Prof. R. Guleria, Director, AIIMS and other senior dignitaries from the medical profession were also present on the occasion.

New Delhi [India], April 5 (ANI): Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan will chair a meeting with health ministers of 11 states and Union Territories on Tuesday, said sources.
Hitting a grim milestone, India has recorded over 1 lakh COVID-19 cases in a span of 24 hours on Monday, the highest single daily spike in infections since the pandemic started last year.
With this, India has become the third country after the US and Brazil to register a six-figure addition in COVID-19 cases in a single day. On January 8, the United States surpassed 300,000 daily coronavirus cases, reported the Washington Post. On March 25, Brazil recorded 100,158 new coronavirus cases and 2,777 new deaths, the country s Health Ministry said.
