Representational Image  |  Photo Credit: IANS Chennai: Tamil Nadu state government released guidelines to register for the next phase of COVID vaccination on Saturday. As per the health officials, 95 per cent of centres offer only Covishield. According to the government coronavirus vaccination protocol, the type of vaccine will not be disclosed to the public during the appointment.   According to the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) latest data, so far 4.5 lakh people have been vaccinated in the state. Tamil Nadu has reported 486 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours, which took the total state active counts to 4,036. As per the health bulletin, the total death counts tally stands at 12,493.
