NEW DELHI: Working from quarantine, after being discharged from the hospital following COVID -19 infection, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today reviewed On-line his constituency’s COVID management status with the officers of the respective district administrations and public representatives.
The meeting was held through video conference because Dr Jitendra Singh is yet to test negative for COVID after the recent episode of infection and he is still not physically meeting or interacting with anybody. Incidentally, he was in his constituency till 19th of this month when he returned to the national capital and had to be hospitalised with COVID the very next day, which suddenly interrupted his routine of regular weekly trips to the constituency, as he had been doing for the last seven years.

NEW DELHI, May 6 : Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Department of Space (DoS) are augmenting Oxygen availability and COVID infrastructure across the country.
ISRO has gone beyond its call to provide COVID related support mainly liquid oxygen to States of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and UT of Chandigarh, he said.
In an online review meeting, Chairman, ISRO, Dr. K. Sivan said that 9.5 tonnes of oxygen being given to these States per day. He said, 87 Tonnes of LOX manufactured and supplied by ISRO Propulsion Complex, IPRC have already been given to Tamil Nadu and Kerala by ensuring 24×7 work schedule. NEW DELHI, May 4: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh today appealed to all the eligible employees of the age of 18 years and above to get themselves vaccinated at the earliest.
A circular in this regard was already issued by the DoPT on 22.04.2021. Earlier, in compliance with the OM of even number dated 6.4.2021, the Minister had appealed to all the eligible employees of the age of 45 years and above to get themselves vaccinated. He also expressed satisfaction that the DoPT has organized regular camps for vaccination at North Block and all officers above 18 are taking benefits of the same after registering on www.cowin.gov.in.
