Kolkata: The war of words between the ruling TMC and the BJP on Saturday was seen on Twitter after the saffron camp mocked Mamata Banerjee s slogan âBangla nijer meyekeyi chayeâ (Bengal wants its daughter).
A day after the Election Commission of India (ECI) had declared the poll dates, poll strategists Prashant Kishor who is looking after the poll strategy of the ruling Trinamool Congress took to Twitter and wrote that Bengal is determined to show âright cardâ to the TMC in the upcoming Assembly polls.

Kolkata: Incidents of political rivalry continued unabated on Wednesday as two different clashes were reported in West Bengal between BJP and TMC.
BJPâs âParivartan Yatraâ was stopped near Kanchrapara in North 24 Parganas by the police stating that the saffron camp didnât have the necessary permission to enter with their âRathsâ.
Following a tussle between the BJP cadres and police, BJP West Bengal observer Kailash Vijaywargiya rushed to the spot and stated that following âlathi-chargeâ by the police, nearly 22 BJP members were seriously injured.
