Chandigarh [India], March 5 (ANI): Hitting out at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders over their statements on farmers, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that farm workers of Punjab are not anti-nationals but are patriotic and nationalistic people.
According to a press release, the Punjab CM called for an immediate end to attempts to defame the dynamic Punjabi farmers by branding them miscreants or ultras. He said in the Assembly that they have never done anything anti-national, they are not anti-national, and they will never do anything against the unity and integrity of this country.

New Delhi [India], March 3 (ANI): Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said the Central government has three mantaras for the infrastructure sector, which is upgrade, create and dedicate.
Goyal, who was speaking at the Maritime India Summit 2021, mentioned that India s capacity of major ports has almost doubled in six years. We have developed smart cities and industrial parks and integrated ports with the coastal economic zones. Our government s three mantras for the infrastructure sector are: upgrade, create and dedicate, he said. International and domestic freight costs will reduce from 13-14 per cent cost of goods to a more acceptable international benchmark of 8 per cent, he said.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal lambasted some members of the Governing Council Bureau of Indian Standards for disabling their video during an online conference call. The minister during the meeting on March 1, said that it is difficult to figure out if people are seriously attending the meeting or wandering about by keeping the video on blank. If you switch on the video, I will be able to know if you are actually attending the meeting, he said. Goyal said that it is easier to see if everyone is showing interest if the video is on.
