New Delhi [India], May 24 (ANI): The Delhi Police Special Cell sent notice to Twitter in connection with a probe over manipulated media tag used with some of the posts on an alleged Congress toolkit against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government.
The Delhi police have asked Twitter to share the information that it has in regard to the alleged toolkit and why it used the manipulated media tag.
Earlier, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had written to Twitter objecting to it tagging some of the posts on an alleged Congress toolkit against the Modi government, as manipulated media .

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], May 24 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President and former Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh on Monday alleged that the FIR registered against him in the alleged toolkit case was done on the direction of Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing media here, the former chief minister said: An FIR was filed on Sambit Patra and myself, as the Congress plan to tarnish the image of the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was busted. The planning. was not done through Civil Line police station but from the Congress party office.

New Delhi, May 24 : Delhi Police Special Cell has sent a notice to micro-blogging site Twitter over the alleged toolkit row, sources said on Monday.
A Delhi Police source said that the Special Cell has sent notice to Twitter for describing a tweet as manipulated media in connection with the alleged toolkit controversy, that erupted last week.
In the notice, police has asked Twitter to share all the information with it, on how it described the toolkit as manipulated media.
Delhi Police is yet to register a case in the matter.
