2012 – The UNESCO International Coordinating Council «Human and Biosphere» includes Kazakhstan’s first bid by the Kolgalzhyn State Natural Reserve into the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM â Kazakh Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a letter of condolences to the family members and relatives of late writer, playwright Anes Saray, the Presidentâs Press Secretary Berik Uali posted on his Facebook account, Kazinform correspondent reports. Related news «Offer my condolences for the passing of the prominent writer, poet, playwright, honored worker of Kazakhstan, State Prize Laureate Anes Saray. The gifted author worked hard at republican newspapers, publishing houses and in the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan. Throughout his long career, he produced historical and literary works,» the letter reads.

Bauyrzhan Momyshuly (1910-1982) is the legendary military leader, Hero of the Soviet Union, writer, participant of the Great Patriotic War.
Born in Zhambyl region is the graduate of the Leningrad Financial Academy courses, Military Academy of General Staff of Armed Forces of the USSR.
Monuments honoring Bauyrzhan Momyshuly were unveiled in his native soil and Nur-Sultan, and a bust in Volokolamsk, Moscow region.
Kaltay Mukhamedzhanov (Kaliolla Mukhamedzhan) (1928-2001) is the people’s writer of Kazakhstan, playwright, theatrical critic, merited figure of culture of Kyrgyzstan.
