The audio was shared with CBC Saskatoon by Sherri Maier, an advocate for those inside the prison system with Beyond Prison Walls Canada and Gordon s loved one.

Correctional Service Canada raised its COVID-19 restrictions in its Ontario Region institutions and community correctional centres on Wednesday.
As a result, all in-person visits to the correctional service’s Ontario facilities, including all Kingston-area institutions, have been suspended.

“This decision will limit comings and goings from its facilities. It follows extensive consultation with public health officials and will be reassessed on an ongoing basis,” a statement from CSC, released on Thursday morning, said.
