DELEGATIONS
Audited Financial Statements
David Adams, of Adams Wooley Chartered Professional Accountants, provided council with an overview of the district’s financial position prior to their acceptance of the Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2020. The financial statements will be included in the 2020 Annual Report when it is published in June.
Sparwood Museum
Joanne Wilton, representing the Michel Natal Sparwood Heritage Society, made a request to council for financial assistance in the amount of $49,000 to enable the society to hire a full-time executive director. The society would like to be able to have the Sparwood Museum open on a year-round basis. The society’s request was referred to staff to report back to council at the April 20 regular meeting.
