Reactions to Texas Lawsuit Dismissal Americans have been reacting to the Supreme Court’s decision to not consider the Texas case on potential for election fraud in the November election. SCOTUS threw out the case for a “lack of standing” meaning that the justices decided there wasn’t a strong enough connection showing that the four disputed states harmed Texas. Spokesman for the Biden campaign, Mike Gwin, said the Supreme Court “decisively and speedily rejected” what he called Trump’s “attacks on the democratic process.” Pennsylvania’s attorney general echoed the remark, saying the nation’s highest court saw through what he called a “seditious abuse of our electoral process.” He added this should make “anyone contemplating further attacks on our election think twice.”
