They urged the Centre to release the additional doses of coronavirus vaccine or else the vaccination drive will take a speed breaker. As per the reports coming from the Maharashtra government, the state has a stock of 14 lakh vaccines available and they would last for three days. Andhra Pradesh has a stock of 3.7 lakh vaccine doses and they would be zero by the end of Thursday. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope informed the same to the media and he said that he requested Harsh Vardhan, the Union Health Minister to supply 40 lakh doses of coronavirus vaccines per week.
