Amid growing demand for the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, around 300 Class 12 students sent a letter petition to Chief Justice of India NV Ramana to quash the CBSE s decision to hold physical conduct of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 amid the rising coronavirus cases in the country.
In the letter, the students have urged the apex court to direct the government to provide alternative assessment schemes for Class 12 students.

Amid the growing demand for the cancellations of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday (May 24) launched its annual tele counselling for the Class 10 and Class 12 students and their parents through the dedicated Toll-Free number 1800 11 8004.
It may be recalled that the CBSE had launched the CBSE Dost For Life app on May 10, 2021.

As the government is in the process of taking a decision on the Class 12 board exams and subsequent entrance tests that were postponed due to the second wave of COVID-19, a demand has been made from some quarters that if the exams are to be held, the students be vaccinated first. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and president of Samajwadi party Akhilesh Yadav tweeted on Tuesday (May 25) regarding the pending CBSE and ICSE 12th board examination.

As the government is still analysing and in the process of making a decision on the class 12 board exams, and other entrance exams owing to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, some people are in the view that exams should be only held post-vaccination of
