Board Exams 2021: While interacting with students of Kendriya Vidyalaya today, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, in the live webinar announced that the students will be asked questions in the upcoming board exams 2021 on the basis of the revised CBSE syllabus. The Education Minister further said that the engineering entrance test JEE Main 2021, and medical entrance test NEET 2021, will however be held on the basis of the complete syllabus as determined by the competitive exams administering body. The education boards including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and several state boards have reduced the syllabus of Class 10 and Class 12 as a one-time measure considering the hardships the students were facing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Pointing out that India has become a top nation in various fields of development, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Monday urged the student community to keenly take up research and innovation as bigger thrust has been provided in the New Education Policy-2020 by the Union Government.
While delivering his address at the 11th convocation of NIT Hamirpur through virtual mode, he said that the NEP was prepared after several discussions and talks so that there was no need for such a policy in the coming 50 years.

NEW DELHI: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Monday announced that the students will be asked questions in the upcoming board exams 2021 on the basis of the revised syllabus. The Union education minister attended the programme from KV Andrewsganj, New Delhi and answered the queries of the students.
During the interaction program, the students asked questions related to various fields and subjects. Replying to the query by a student of KV Gurugram, Pokhriyal informed that as the curriculum was cut by 30 per cent this year due to Covid-19, therefore in the upcoming competitive examinations like JEE and NEET this year the candidates will have more options to answer the questions.

Amid rising grievances of students and teachers over CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Monday (January 18) said that the questions of these important exams will be based on the reduced syllabus as per the 2020 curriculum announced keeping in mind the coronavirus outbreak. However, for competitive exams such as JEE and NEET will not be held as per reduced syllabus. Students appearing for these exams will have to study the full syllabus.
