22-year-old woman was murdered, cops say

The death of a 22-year-old woman in Elizabeth on Tuesday is being investigated as a homicide, authorities said.
Shaquin Ingram was found in an apartment on the 10 block of Jacques Street around 1 a.m, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday.
Police were called to the apartment to do a welfare check. Ingram had serious injuries and was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
A prosecutor’s office spokesman didn’t immediately have additional information about how she was killed or who else lived in the apartment.

APPLING CO., Ga. (WTOC) - New College and Career Academies are coming to Appling, Evans and Union counties.
Governor Brian Kemp made the announcement Monday that $9 million in bond grants have been approved to establish the schools.
Three technical schools will partner with local education systems to create the new academies. Coastal Pines Technical College will partner with Appling County Schools to establish the Appling Regional College and Career Academy, Ogeechee Technical College will partner with Evans County Schools to establish the Evans Regional College and Career Academy, and North Georgia Technical College will partner with Union County Schools to establish
