Union County, NJ – The Union County Board of Commissioners invites families to join Sensory Friendly Bedtime Story, a special online celebration of this year’s Read Across America event hosted by the Office for Persons with Disabilities & Special Needs.
“Read Across America is a wonderful program that engages children all over the country, and with this special online program we hope to ensure that children with special needs and disabilities can participate in this nationwide celebration of the joys of reading,” said Board of Commissioners Chairman Alexander Mirabella.

The Union County Board of Commissioners Black History Month series continues on Sunday, February 28, with a musical celebration and presentation the annual Chester Holmes Humanitarian Award.
