UCI to set up new security protocol for season 2021
Aigle, Switzerland, Dec 13 (Prensa Latina) With the aim of preventing accidents, supervising routes, and controling athletes behavior in races, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is planning today to establish a new security protocol for season 2021.
The organization released several measures both in World Tour competitions and the international UCI calendar, which must be ratified by the Professional Council (CCP) that groups institutions of world cycling.
So far, UCI intends to create a managering position to supervise security in the events of the competition program, so organizers must set up this figure in their respective competitions.
