Those 27 are split into the Heritage Zone and Tokyo Bay Zone with the other 15 outlying venues. The Heritage Zone contains iconic arenas which were a part of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, and will be reused in various forms, while the Tokyo Bay Zone houses 16 venues, as well as the International Broadcast Centre and Main Press Centre. The Olympic village can be found at the intersection of the two zones.
