JK Reports 1526 New COVID-19 Cases, Six Deaths

SRINAGAR: The Government on Sunday informed that 1526 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19),547from Jammu division and 979from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 146692.Also, 06 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 03 from Jammu Division and 03 from Kashmir Division. Moreover, 963 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 541 from Jammu Division and 422 from Kashmir Division. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 146692 positive cases, 11467 are Active Positive, 133168 have recovered and 2057have died; 764 in Jammu division and 1293 in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 6760101test results available, 6613409 samples have been tested as negative till April 18, 2021.
