It is amazing what a simple thing like a global pandemic can do to bring people together. This time two years ago, Governor Phil Murphy was being threatened with a 2021 gubernatorial primary election challenge and the North Jersey and South Jersey factions were poised for a major proxy war over the Chairmanship of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, a political organization that has very little real power in the realm of New Jersey politics, especially compared to the various county party organizations, particularly those with the largest populations and greatest concentrations of Democratic voters; Bergen, Camden, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Union, and Passaic.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. The YWCA Central Carolinas has eight youth learning centers throughout Mecklenburg and Union Counties. Wilson spoke with Dr. Sheila Ijames and Kirsten Sikkelee about how the program is helping students and how the YWCA’s centers are reopening with safety measures in place.
The YWCA’s Youth Programs were impacted throughout the pandemic and they facilitated remote lessons with students, the centers now have a limited number of students in person. Brown Corporation elects three new fellows, seven trustees
Brown’s governing body elected each new member based on their commitment to the University and its mission of education and research.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] During its annual spring meeting in May, the Corporation of Brown University elected three new members to its Board of Fellows and seven new members to its Board of Trustees. Each was invited to serve on Brown’s governing body based on their commitment to the University and its mission of education and research.
John C. Atwater, a 1983 Brown graduate and a trustee since 2015, Pamela R. Reeves, a 1987 Brown graduate and a trustee since 2016, and Nancy G. Zimmerman, a 1985 Brown graduate and trustee since 2019 and from 2010 to 2016, were elected to the Board of Fellows. Members of the Board of Fellows customarily serve 11-year terms.
