Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has launched the revamped IRCTC website along with the Rail Connect app. A more user-friendly version of the website has been launched that would make online booking faster and hassle-free. The new IRCTC website will mean you can book tickets faster with the help of artificial intelligence, Piyush Goyal said at the launch.
Talking about the revamped website Based on an AI platform, the IRCTC website will have frequent traveler s history along with their travel pattern. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, around 73% of tickets for railway travel were booked through the IRCTC website but post-coronavirus around 83% of the tickets are now booked through IRCTC.
Click on the Menu icon of the browser, it opens up a list of options.
Click on the “Options ”, it opens up the settings page,
Here click on the “Privacy & Security” options listed on the left hand side of the page.
Scroll down the page to the “Permission” section .
Here click on the “Settings” tab of the Notification option.
A pop up will open with all listed sites, select the option “ALLOW“, for the respective site under the status head to allow the notification.
Once the changes is done, click on the “Save Changes” option to save the changes. Notifications

New Delhi: Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on (Thursday) December 31, 2020 launched the revamped website and mobile app of IRCTC.
The IRCTC upgraded e-ticketing website and mobile app comes with a host of user friendly features and will be operational from January 1.

Complete User personalization linked to the user login, such as the booking of meals, retiring rooms and hotels has been integrated and can be directly along with the tickets, thus providing a one stop solution for the needs of the traveller.

New Delhi [India], December 31 (ANI): Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday launched the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation s upgraded e-ticketing website and mobile app for online booking of railway tickets. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is launching a website which will bring transparency, at the end of this year. This is a New Year gift for passengers. IRCTC should focus on customer needs and work towards further improving the website, Goyal said on the occassion.
