The Spanish retailer, known as Inditex, said net profit for the three months to the end of October was 866 million euros ($1.05 billion), down 26% from EUR2.72 billion a year earlier. Sales for the period were EUR6.05 billion, down from EUR7 billion the previous year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization came to EUR1.85 billion in the quarter, down from EUR2.23 billion previously.
