During a press conference on Thursday evening, Minister of Small Business and Entrepreneurship Kerrie Symmonds said shops would be provided with $750 and vendors $250 per week over the period, beginning next Wednesday. He added assistance would extend to beauty salons, barbers, nail technicians, water sports and taxi operators. Symmonds did not specify the amount of funds that would be paid out, and yesterday he said no decision had been made as yet on how much would be offered to taxi operators.
