Six food industry innovations by Omani youth showcased at Gulfood 2021

Muscat: The Industrial Innovation Centre has displayed six specialised innovations in the food industry, developed by Omani youth, at the international exhibition Gulfood 2021 held in the United Arab Emirates.
This is part of the centre s efforts to promote food related innovations of the Sultanate and introduce them to the participants of the ongoing prominent international exhibition of the region being held between February 21 and 25 in Dubai. This gives an opportunity to the Omani youth to learn from the experiences of the developed countries in the area.

Muscat: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates – Madayn began its participation at one of the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade shows – Gulfood 2021, which kicked off on Sunday at Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates. The five-day event is witnessing the participation of 2,500 companies representing the food and beverage industry from various countries worldwide.
Hamood bin Abdullah Al Balushi, Director of Omani Products Department at Madayn commented that Madayn is participating at Gulfood for the ninth consecutive year given the significance of being present at such a global platform to promote Omani products and explore new markets for these products. “Gulfood presents an ideal opportunity for the Omani food industries to feature their high-quality products to visitors from different countries.
