Career Path With Head Of IT At SGA Security Kenya, Kevin Omolo
Kevin Omolo, 44, is the head of technical services at SGA Security Kenya, Ltd. The computer science guru holds a Masters in Computing Technology from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a PhD in computer science at the same institution.

Briefly tell us about yourself
I am the current head of technical services at SGA Security Kenya Limited. In this role, I steer the technology department with the design and implementation of electronic security solutions. I work closely with the commercial team in responding to security bids as well as coordinate the day-to-day running of the technology department.

Nonsizi was the 2019 Zuri Award winner and the bubbly woman has more than 7 years of experience on the Kenyan and African media and entertainment scene.
She spoke to
Nairobi News about her life behind the limelight.
“I grew up in Kiambu county, a village called Kagongo in the heart of Kiambu. My parents and grandparents were in our life,” Nonsizi says.
So, what is the story behind her unique name, Nonsizi?
“My paternal great-grandmother was from South Africa, but she lived with us in Kiambu. That is where I got the name Nonsizi from,” she says.

Isaac Mosongo
If something doesn’t seem right, he doesn’t waste time on it. And that got Isaac Mosongo, a General Service Unit man, studying nursing while still in the police force. He wanted to serve, only in a very different way. 10 years in service, he knew it was time to put the arms down. He was restless. He also realised he couldn’t possibly reach his highest potential while in the armed forces. This realisation was further solidified by the fact he was getting some job offers. He took one from AAR; and as he was going through orientation, he was presented with a more enticing offer by Mount Kenya Safari Club. They wanted to take him on as a health and safety manager in charge of the security department. This was a better fit for his skills and he accepted it. He would later work in a similar capacity for The Fairmont, West House, Eka Hotel and DusitD2. Today, he owns Safety Associates Limited, a firm with corporate clients and institutions like the

Summary
The changes are aimed at supporting a smooth implementation of a unified payroll system which the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) recently rolled out for joint declaration and payment of the three deductions as well as Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE).
This will be a departure from the current practice where NSSF and NHIF deductions are submitted by the 15th and the 9th of every month, respectively while training levies are remitted on the 10th day of every month.
The portal will allow all the four institutions to monitor statutory payments coming from each employer, making it easier to analyse, reconcile and pick out non-compliance.
