-Technicolor(Euronext Paris: TCH, OTCQX: TCLRY) announces that the Combined General Shareholders Meeting of Technicolor SA, chaired by Ms. Anne Bouverot, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, was held today behind closed doors at the registered office of the Company.
The Shareholders Meeting being held behind closed doors, the entire vote was conducted by mail.
Considering all postal votes and proxies given to the Chairperson of the General Meeting, it appears that the shareholders represented or voting by post held 116,474,688 shares with voting rights, i.e. a quorum of 49.39% for the Combined General Shareholders Meeting.
Technicolor’s India head Biren Ghose gets French award

The Country Head in India of the Paris-headquartered Technicolor, Biren Ghose, has been awarded the French civilian award The Ordre National du Mérite.
This award is considered one of France’s highest distinctions, honouring individuals for their meritorious service, and confers on Biren Ghose the status of “Chevalier” – a French knighthood, a press statement from the Consule Générale of France said.
The statement said Ghose has built Technicolor’s India studio, which grew from a small crew when he joined in 2009, to a strong team of 5,000 artists and technicians at present. This is now the world’s largest computer graphics hub in the industry. Ghose’s team has won many awards for its work in VFX and animation in movies, TV, advertising and games - Oscars, VES, Emmy, BAFTA, Cannes Lions and many others.

Veteran animation executive Steven Wendland has been appointed as president of Discreet Arts USA, the newly-launched offshoot of Indian animation firm Discreet Arts. The new unit is based in Burbank, California.
He is expected to expand the company’s work-for-hire business while also developing a slate of original productions. These may be based on Discreet Arts’ existing IP and new properties.

Until last year, Wendland was VP of animation and head of creative development at Technicolor’s L.A. office. Among the projects developed and produced under his guidance were Mark Drop and Jerry Leibowitz’s “Atomic Puppet,” Tom Taylor and James Brouwer’s “The Deep,” for which he earned Emmy- and BAFTA-nominations.
