CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, May 27 (PIA) To promote environmental awareness and ecological best practices in the country, the Cagayan de Oro River Basin Management Council (CDORBMC) and Macajalar Bay Development Alliance (MBDA) held a webinar cum Talakayan to discuss the policies governing clean air, clean water, solid waste management, and biodiversity protection.
“This is a concrete response for the call of caring for our common home especially at this time of the pandemic. The outbreak of COVID-19 reflects how we have treated our environment and natural habitats which affect all aspects of our lives today,” said Archbishop Jose Cabantan, CDORBMC lead chairman in his opening message.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, May 20 The Northern Mindanao Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC)-10 represented by the regional offices of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-10, Department of Budget and Management (dbm)-10, and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)-10 together with the implementing agencies inspected high impact projects in Cagayan de Oro City and the provinces of Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon.
During its 2nd Quarter 2021 field monitoring visits from May 10-12, the team visited seven bypass and diversion roads, namely, the Malaybalay-Gingoog Road, Misamis Oriental-Bukidnon-Agusan del Norte Road, Claveria - Balingoan Bypass Road, Roads Leveraging Linkages of Industry and Trade (ROLL-IT) in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental connecting to the 3,000 hectare PHIVIDEC Industrial Estates, Puerto-Claveria By-Pass Road, PHIVIDEC-Alae Road, and the Agora Road leading to the Cagayan de Oro Port.

The Department of Science and Technology and QBO Innovation Hub recently rewarded top-performing Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) that have demonstrated outstanding capabilities and produced impactful programs and startups during the TBI 4.0 Program.
The TBI 4.0 program, funded by the DOST’s Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) and led by QBO Innovation Hub, aims to develop world-class TBIs and incubator managers and increase the number of quality tech startups in the Philippines.
The program, which was initiated in 2019, also elevated the capacity and services of the 12 DOST-supported TBIs from all over the country, many of which were affiliated with local universities. The 12 TBIs and their partner universities consist of:
