Building security into an AI SoC using CPU features with extensions

With the rapid deployment of artificial intelligence (AI), the focus of AI system on chip (SoC) design has been on building smarter, faster and cheaper devices rather than safer, trusted, and more secure. Matheny is founding director of the Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University.
Before we look at how to build security into AI SoCs at silicon level, consider what an AI system is. It comprises three elements:
an inference engine that processes data, makes decisions, and sends commands;

NEW DELHI: For the first time in the US history, more than 20 Indian-Americans have either been appointed or nominated to be part of the US government with as many as 17 of them in key positions.
On Wednesday, as President Joe Biden takes oath as 46th President of the USA alongside vice-president elect Kamala Harris, who too has roots in India, here is a list of Indian-Americans announced to be a part of Biden s administration:

The incoming Biden administration is pushing ahead on transitioning IT leadership as Trump administration officials turn over letters of resignation to end their tenures.
As is long-standing tradition, political appointees turn in letters of resignation at the end of one administration for the next administration to decide whether to accept or reject it, according to former federal CIO Tony Scott. In 99.9% of the cases . they accept your resignation and they have somebody else to fill that role, Scott told CIO Dive in November. I m sure the same will be true in this turnover.
So-called career officials, those not politically appointed, have greater chances of staying in their roles. They can, however, still choose to leave alongside an administration change.
