West Alabama Works plans hiring fair, job readiness workshop

West Alabama Works will host separate events this month focused on bringing more people into the workforce.
A job readiness workshop will help applicants learn about essential workplace skills and include tips on preparing for an interview, dressing for success and how to become a successful employee.
The workshop will be held in two sessions July 20 at the Tuscaloosa Career Center, 202 Skyland Drive, from 10 a.m. until noon and then from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Representatives from the career center, West Alabama Works and Shelton State Community College will attend the workshop.
