No one has courage to bring no-confidence motion against the premier: Fawad Ch
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Sunday said that opposition parties don’t have any plan or strategy against the government.
In a post on social-networking website, the minister said that the opposition is now thinking about no-confidence motion against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan after facing humiliation on its resignation plan.
No one has courage to bring no-confidence motion against the premier, he asserted.
The reaction came after five key leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), including PDM Head Maulana Fazlur Rehman, had opposed the suggestion of proposing a no-confidence motion against PM Imran in the National Assembly.
Academia urged to equip youth with modern skills

Islamabad : Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Wednesday urged the academia to educate and equip the youth with the skills that new emerging fields demand.
He was speaking during a special ceremony organised by the QAU Office of Research Innovation and Commercialisation in collaboration with the Sustainable Social Development Organisation (SSDO) to inaugurate the Sustainable Development Goals Wall at the university here.
Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali and SSDO Executive Director Syed Kausar Abbas were also in attendance.
The minister said in developed countries, universities had changed the landscape of the society by research and innovation.

Federal minister calls out so-called nationalist parties
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Monday lashed out at the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), alleging that the Opposition s stage is a hotbed for the anti-Punjab parties.
The federal minister, known for his blunt remarks against the Opposition parties, said that the Punjabis constitutes half of Pakistan s population.
Fawad claimed that so-called nationalists have swindled billions of rupees and abuse Punjab to deceive their supporters . On average, Rs400 billion are transferred to Balochistan every year. Balochistan s population is just 10 million, where did the money go?
