Published January 8, 2021 12:58pm The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) on Friday said Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinopharm has no final decision yet on whether it will seek to conduct a clinical trial for its COVID-19 vaccine in the Philippines. Sa ngayon po ay wala pa silang final decision kung sila ba ay magcoconduct ng clinical trial or sila ay mag-aapply lang ng EUA (emergency use authorization), DOST Assistant Secretary Leah Buendia said at the Laging Handa briefing. She said the department has not yet received any data from Sinopharm but added that they have previously signed a confidentiality disclosure agreement (CDA) with the company.
