The update includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
Apple has released a new Safari Technology Preview update, this time bringing the version number to a rather pleasing 123.
Safari Technology Preview is used by Apple as a form of beta testing, allowing it to roll updates out to Safari proper once they have been tested elsewhere. As MacRumors points out, Safari Technology Preview has been around since March 2016, making it now more than five years old.
Safari is the best way to see the sites on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Safari Technology Preview gives you an early look at upcoming web technologies in macOS and iOS. Get the latest layout technologies, visual effects, developer tools, and more, so you can provide input on how they are implemented and deliver a best-in-class user experience on all Apple devices.

Ubuntu Linux Now Runs On Apple M1 Silicon Macs, What To Expect And How To Prepare
One of the more pragmatic aspects of Intel-powered Macs was their ability to run alternative operating systems, including Windows and Linux, without much effort at all. Apple even included a Windows preparation tool, Boot Camp, on all of its systems with Intel Core processors. With the advent of Apple Silicon Macs (such as the recent Mac mini) that have the company s M1 SoC under the hood, Apple discontinued Boot Camp. Those systems had been locked into macOS 11 Big Sur, but thanks to Arm-based virtual cloud device maker Corellium, Ubuntu Linux is now completely usable.

I would spend sometime reading the release notes within their forum..
.whilst this beat does require testing and feedback you must remember that it is a beta and not recommended to use full time on a media PC. For that they have version 1.02 which has been working a treat for me for a while. I am using it on Windows 7 x64 and the only issues I had was the refresh rate not auto changing when playing 24hz material and some issues with my remote control. However both of these were fixed with help from their supportive forums.
