Police found his body wrapped in a blanket shortly before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Louisville Metro Police reportedly got a call from a witness who said they had seen Higgins with a gun and what appeared to be the boy’s dead body wrapped in a blanket. When they arrived, Higgins was on her porch, where police saw what they believe was blood. She was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with murder and evidence tampering.

One of the victims was a child. Cops arrived while the scene in the city of Orange was still active, and an officer shot and injured the shooter, the Orange County Register reported.
