Active duty military, veterans and reservists can get free tickets to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA through the Waves of Honor program for themselves and their families. As a token of our appreciation for those who have served our country, BGW are offering all U.S. military veterans and active duty service members four free tickets for themselves and guests to BGW. “We hold the men and women that have served in our armed forces in the highest regard, and are honored to host them at our parks as guests,” Busch Gardens Williamsburg noted.

Somehow, Busch Gardens Williamsburg seems to be keeping the holiday spark alive, and it’s all thanks to their Christmas Celebration. WYDaily checked out the park Friday. After Gov. Ralph Northam amended restrictions and guidelines for COVID-19 safety last week, WYDaily asked Kevin Lembke, president of Busch Gardens Williamsburg, about the park’s current safety regulations.

There are also six full-time openings, dozens of part-time positions, as well as many more seasonal jobs. Busch Gardens Williamsburg recently made a big change from being open only seasonally to year round. Now they are looking for additional help to keep the park both fun and beautiful. There are also several incentives in place for park employees. Wages for employees hired through May 2021 will start as high as $12 and will also be eligible to receive a hiring bonus starting at $100, according to the announcement. Those hired to work at either park will enjoy many perks including, “free admission to both parks, free and discount tickets for friends and family to the sister parks including SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, exclusive events, free uniforms, potential for growth and upward mobility, and other benefits,” the news release read.
