STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Staten Island is currently home to 15 post offices: Eltingville, Manor Road, Great Kills, Mariners Harbor, New Dorp, New Springville, Port Richmond, Prince’s Bay, Rosebank, St. George, St. George Ferry Terminal, Stapleton, South Shore Annex, Tottenville and West New Brighton.
Police investigate reported shooting at same site as Thursday homicide

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Police responded to a shooting Friday night at the same Tompkinsville site where a homicide took place Thursday.
A team of NYPD officers could be seen investigating on Bay Street near its intersection with Victory Boulevard around 7:30 p.m.
The glass front door of a convenience store on the block appeared to have been shattered and officers were inside investigating. Cops blocked a portion of the street as they conducted their investigation.
A spokesman for the department said no victims had been reported, but that officers were in the process of canvassing local hospitals.
