Pupils at a Norfolk secondary school are learning from home following an outbreak of coronavirus cases.
Thorpe St Andrew School said it was working closely with Public Health England and Norfolk County Council following confirmed positive cases in Year 11.
The school, which is part of the Yare Education Trust, said as an “additional precautionary measure” Year 11 students, who are completing their GCSEs this summer term, had started an online learning and futures timetable from Monday.
Clare Fletcher, acting chief executive of the Yare Education Trust, said: “The school has contacted any parent/carer whose child is considered to have been in close contact with the cases so they can take the appropriate actions.”

Fabaceae, many of which produce fruits or seeds known as pulses.
Members of this family of plants are grown for their seeds, which are eaten all over the world, and include the tea-time favourites; peas, beans, lentils, chick peas and kidney beans.
Legumes are not only a tasty part of a healthy diet, but they also play a key role in improving the nutrition and condition of the soil they’re grown in.
We know this thanks to studies that have shown how these plants work with bacteria in a mutually beneficial way to ‘fix’ nitrogen from the atmosphere. Nitrogen is vital for healthy plant growth. Other plants cannot ‘fix’ nitrogen, so require additional nitrates to be added to the soil to ensure health plant growth, and good yields for farmers.
She added: This is going to be a cafe with a little bit of a Spanish influence. Mums and dads can sit and have a coffee as the kids can play in the park.
Natalie and Nick Brewer will be opening La Churreria - The Little Shop of Churro cafe in Thorpe St Andrew, alongside their business Churros & Chorizo.

The business originally started on Norwich market, but left in 2019 to focus on event catering. Mr Brewer said he planned to cook in the cafe kitchen before hitting the road in Dolores, the van to head to events.
