The vaccination site at Lake Eola Park takes only walks ups but appointments are required at UCF Lake Nona.
ORLANDO, Fla. - A new vaccination site opened at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando on Wednesday.
Officials say that the vaccination site will be open every Wednesday between 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Single-dose Johnson & Johnson and two-shot Pfizer vaccines will be given.
The site is reportedly open for walk-ups only. Registration is not required. The site is specifically located near the bandshell on Rosalind Avenue.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a 16-year-old girl.
Just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, the Orlando Police Department said officers responded to the Wawa on John Young Parkway and Silver Star Road after reports of a shooting.
When investigators arrived, they said they found a gunshot victim nearby, who turned out to be a 16-year-old girl. She was identified by police as Tavyiah King, the niece of Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill.

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Police Department says that they are investigating a deadly shooting.
They said that the shooting happened on Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m. near Downtown Orlando on North Orange Avenue.
A man was reportedly found shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man was killed early Sunday morning after a shooting in downtown Orlando, the police department said. Officers heard gunshots around 2:30 a.m. on North Orange Avenue near Central Boulevard, according to OPD spokesperson Lt. Joe Capece. The unidentified man was found on the ground and died at the scene. Capece did not have any details about the shooting or a suspect. This is a developing .
