The pandemic’s impact on local businesses has been a “mixed bag,” according to the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Brantford-Brant.

“Certain sectors have done quite well and others have very much struggled,” David Prang observed. “The restaurant and retail sectors have been extremely hard hit.”
He said the chamber’s primary role during the past year has been to advocate for more government support programs and provide information to its 612 member businesses.
