NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches County Office of Emergency Management has compiled a list of places residents can sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine in the area.
The locations include Walmart, CVS, Sam’s Club, or the vaccination hub for the county.
The OEM says that Walmart Neighborhood Market on University Dr has COVID vaccine appointments available as early as Tuesday, March 9 for 1A, 1B, educators and childcare staff. Schedule an appointment with Walmart at walmart.com/COVIDvaccine or Sam’s Club at samsclub.com/covid.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The state has released its list of COVID-19 vaccine allocation sites for the week beginning March 8.
In Lufkin, Angelina County and Cities Health District will receive 2,000 Moderna vaccines.
CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center Longview will receive 3,510 Pfizer vaccines. NET Health in Tyler will receive the same number of Pfizer vaccines.
Also in Tyler, DSHS at 2521 W Front St Tyler will have 2,340 Pfizer vaccines.
UT Health Henderson will receive 400 of the Johnson & Johnson doses.

LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Angelina County and Cities Health District plans to go live with the East Texas vaccine website on Monday.
Health Administrator Sharon Shaw said residents will be able to access the sign-up sheet from their smartphone and computer.
A QR code will be available to scan in order to enter the vaccine clinic.
Although the call center will still be available for people to access, Shaw said the new website will be an enhancement for the Angelina County area.
