Fans were not permitted to attend training camp practices or home games at U.S. Bank Stadium in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But they arrived early Wednesday, with some settling into their seats more than an hour before practice began.
And there was a noticeable and happy cheer when offensive players lined up near the Purple bleachers for stretches as practice began. I m excited about the fans coming out here, finally, to see us in training camp here at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman said Tuesday. Our fans haven t seen our players in more than a year. This gives them an opportunity … to come in … see our star players, to see all the new faces that we have on this roster.
