Man last seen in 2018 reported missing in Carbondale
CARBONDALE (WSIL) The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing man, Samuel C. Washington, 77, of Carbondale.
He was last seen in September of 2018 and is now being reported by family members as missing.
Washington is described as a black man, 5’11”, 160 lbs.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding Washington’s possible whereabouts is asked to call the Carbondale Police Department (618-457-3200) or remain anonymous by calling 549-COPS (549-2677).

CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - The City of Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding missing man Robert T. Vandelogt, on Thursday, May 6.
It is believed he is alone, and possibly endangered.
Vandelogt is a white, 42 year-old male, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - On April 17 at approximately 1:44 a.m., City of Carbondale police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of North Robert A. Stalls Street.
Officers arrived in the area and found damage to a residence as a result of gunfire.
CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) Three people were shot Sunday at a party in Carbondale.
It happened at about 2:45 a.m. at a vacant residence in the 300 block of West Cherry Street.
According to a press release, responding Carbondale Police Officers found three victims with gunshot wounds. One victim’s injuries were considered to be serious and life-threatening. Officers called for an ambulance, but were told it’s arrival would be delayed due to other emergency calls. The seriously injured victim was then loaded into a pickup truck parked at the scene. Police and the pickup’s owner took the victim to Carbondale Memorial hospital.
