(Indiana Soybean Alliance) Four diesel fleets in Indiana were recently inducted as inaugural members of the newly-formed B20 Club of Indiana, a collaboration between the Indiana Soybean Alliance and the American Lung Association© that showcases exceptional green fleets with experience using B20 – a cleaner-burning blend of twenty percent biodiesel and eighty percent ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel and higher blends of biodiesel. “We are thrilled to launch this innovative collaboration between ISA and the American Lung Association,” said Helena Jette, Biofuels Director for the Indiana Soybean Alliance. “The B20 Club is a great way to tell the stories of fleets in diverse applications that are protecting the health of residents and the environment by reducing diesel emissions through the use of biodiesel. Verbatim: City partnership to aid homeless The city of Fort Wayne issued the following Tuesday, December 22, 2020: Fort Wayne, Ind. – A new partnership formed by several local organizations and the City of Fort Wayne will result in additional assistance for homeless individuals and families. St. Joseph Missions and Just Neighbors Interfaith Homeless Network will be the lead agencies providing a warming center for homeless men, women, and families and an overnight shelter for homeless single women. The City of Fort Wayne, through federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and under the direction of the City s Community Development Division s office of Housing and Neighborhood Services, will be the fiscal agent. Additional partners include the Fort Wayne Area Planning Council, Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, and several local churches.

(FORT WAYNE, IN December 10, 2020) YWCA Northeast Indiana is growing and now has the approval they need to buy a facility that meets the growing needs of the community. The City of Fort Wayne’s Board of Zoning Appeals voted to approve a special use variance that will allow YWCA Northeast Indiana to accept court referrals for their addiction recovery residential program for women, which was the final step necessary for YWCA Northeast Indiana to buy The Guesthouse on Washington Center Road. This new house will allow for all programs and administration to be under one roof. Since the absorption of the Women’s Bureau programs in 2018, YWCA Northeast Indiana has been busting at the seams. Currently, YWCA Northeast Indiana has facilities on Decatur Road, Fairfield Avenue, and Calhoun Street.
