Fans can tailgate at Brewers games starting next week

MILWAUKEE Tailgating will return to American Family Field when the Brewers take on the Chicago Cubs next week.
Fans will be able to tailgate with people attending the game in the same pod starting April 12. The team announced the decision Wednesday.
BREAKING NEWS: Tailgating is Back!
Starting this coming Monday, April 12, tailgating will be permitted at all home games at American Family Field.
“Tailgating is a Wisconsin tradition; it is how we begin our day at the ballpark,” said Brewers President – Business Operations Rick Schlesinger. “We have been in regular contact with the City of Milwaukee Health Department and the opening series was operationally sound. With safety protocols and our fans’ diligence, we are now able to bring back tailgating for those within a seating pod.”

MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Grab your brats and beers, because a popular gameday tradition is returning to American Family Field.
The Milwaukee Brewers, with support from the City of Milwaukee Health Department, are allowing fans to tailgate at the ballpark.

DHS: 727 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, 5 new deaths

MADISON, Wis. - The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 727 Wednesday, April 7, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 581,797.
There have been 6,653 deaths in the state, with five new deaths reported by state health officials Wednesday.
Of the positive cases, 27,894 have required hospitalization (4.8%), while 567,185 have recovered (97.5%), making for 7,715 active cases (1.3%).
More than 2.7 million have tested negative. More than 3.3 million have been tested.
Sheriff: School bus involved in 3-vehicle Dodge County crash

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. - A school bus, dump truck and FedEx van were involved in a three-vehicle Dodge County crash on Tuesday, April 6.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff s Office, the crash happened in the Town of Clyman around 4 p.m. near STH-60 and CTH-M.
Initial investigation shows the school bus, driven by a 75-year-old Watertown man, was headed north on CTH-M and collided with a dump truck headed west on STH-60 by a 56-year-old Beaver Dam man.
The vehicles collided in the intersection and came to rest in a ditch. A FedEx van, driven by a 21-year-old Germantown man was struck also struck.
