Lubbock reports 15 new COVID-19 cases, six more recoveries

Lubbock on Tuesday confirmed 15 new COVID-19 cases, six more recoveries and another day without a new death linked to the coronavirus.
The total number of cases in Lubbock County is 48,765, with 83 active, 47,957 cases listed as recovered, and 725 total deaths linked to COVID-19, according to data provided by the city of Lubbock Health Department.
The city also reported Lubbock County had a 2.32 percent COVID-19 hospitalization percentage as of Monday.
The City of Lubbock Public Health Department conducted a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Tuesday at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, with 701 people receiving vaccinations. LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) - The City of Lubbock Public Health Department conducted a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on April 15, 2021. During these clinics, 1,435 people received vaccinations. The following is a breakdown of clinic results since vaccines became available to the Public Health Department:
December 2020 - 2,086 vaccinations administered
January 2021 - 20,347 vaccinations: 18,007 first doses, 2,340 second doses
February 2021 - 33,342 vaccinations: 17,911 first doses, 15,431second doses
March 2021 - 40,096 vaccinations: 19,648 first doses, 20,449 second doses
A COVID-19 vaccine clinic was hosted by the City of Lubbock Public Health Department April 15. According to the cityâs news release, 1,435 people had received their vaccinations through this clinic. The number of vaccinated individuals since vaccines became available to the Public Health Department is listed below:
