Trying to find a COVID-19 vaccination in Houston? Houstonians now have a new option for receiving the vaccine with the opening of a drive-thru clinic at NRG Park.
In partnership with Memorial Hermann, the NRG park clinic will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Jan. 14 to Jan. 17.
The drive-thru vaccination clinic is available to pre-registered individuals who have scheduled appointments during the four-day event. No walk-ins will be accepted at the clinic. Approximately 13,000 Texans 65 years or older in the state s Phase 1B category are expected to be vaccinated at the location, according to Memorial Hermann. If you want to schedule an appointment, those who qualify for Phase 1B guidelines can sign up now on Memorial Hermann s website.

For those looking toward turning the page on the coronavirus in the new year, 2021 has instead brought with it a severity never before seen in the Gateway City.
Coming off a single-day record 577 positives on Tuesday, Laredo obliterated that figure and then some Wednesday. Officials from the City of Laredo and Webb County announced a staggering 2,066 new cases of COVID-19 along with three deaths.
