Dacera s casket was carried to the site by policemen, with the Philippine National Police (PNP) explaining that this was done to ensure that health protocols are followed amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Vicente Danao, Jr., director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), said what happened only bolstered the determination of the police to further look into the case to shed light on the incident. He, however, admitted that the case filed by the Makati City Police does not stand on a firm ground when he pored over the documents submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office.
