She will report directly to President and Director Dr. Lori Bettison-Varga and will be responsible for crafting the vision and executing the strategy for the NHMLAC brand and experience that attracts new fans, members, donors, and participants in life-long engagement; driving brand awareness and community engagement to increase the sphere of influence and market share for the museum in Los Angeles and beyond; and providing effective executive direction and management to

Adam Graycar is a professor of social and policy studies at Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia. He also is a professor of public policy at the Australian National University in Canberra, where he is director of the Transnational Research Institute on Corruption, which conducts research on public corruption and devises ways to reduce it.
Currently on sabattical at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York and at the Center for the Advancement of Public Integrity at Columbia University, he is a former dean of the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University, the state university of New Jersey.

These are scenes from three paintings owned by the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, part of a batch of 10 European artworks obtained between 1933 and 1945 that FAMSF is now reviewing for their possible connection to Nazi-looted art.
The city’s largest arts institution, which oversees the de Young Museum and the California Legion of Honor, has in total some 100,000 pieces of art. It “stands as one of the most visited arts institutions in the United States,” according to its website.
