Guido s is a partner of sustainable farms all across the region, which keeps your produce local, organic, and moving swiftly from the field to your kitchen. Brothers Chris and Matt Masiero are the owners of Guido’s Fresh Marketplace stores, in their Pittsfield store. Eagle File Photo Tyringham’s Woven Roots Farm, Left Field Farm in Middlefield, and Indian Line Farm in South Egremont are three of those small-scale ag operations that will soon be delivering spring’s bounty to a Guido’s near you.

The site is along E-Town Parkway, east of Florida 9B. While no name is shown on plans filed with the city, the size – 43,387 square feet –  fits Publix Super Markets Inc. The Lakeland-based grocer says it has no plans that show a site there, but doesn’t rule out the location as one of interest. “We’re always looking for opportunities to best serve our customers,” said Publix Director of Communications Maria Brous.  Eastland Timber LLC is the landowner. E-Town Development Inc., part of The PARC Group, is the developer. England, Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer. The PARC Group is developing eTown as well as Nocatee, where Publix leases a store. Publix also opened a GreenWise Market there.
