President Joe Biden introduced his $1.8 trillion American Families Plan on Wednesday night that would include a dramatic federal expansion of the social safety net for families and children, but some Americans and lawmakers are wondering if the plan would include another round of stimulus checks.
The plan, the sequel to Biden s Build Back Better economic agenda following the release of a $2.3 trillion infrastructure and jobs plan, includes paid family leave, universal pre-kindergarten, free community college and subsidized child care, but nothing about a fourth Economic Impact Payment.
