B nai Brith Canada released its 2020 annual audit of antisemitic incidents last week. The report gathers data on incidents of harassment, vandalism and violence against Jewish people in Canada.

Summer camps nix overnight programs amid uncertainty

Winnipeg Free Press Two faith-related summer camps are making changes because of uncertainties regarding pandemic restrictions. Day camps are permitted to have up to 10 children indoors and outdoors, but overnight programs are not allowed under public health orders set to expire in late May. Camp Arnes, an interdenominational Christian camp, has ruled out the possibility of regular programming at its site about an hour north of Winnipeg and will hold day camps in the city instead. The likelihood of offering sleepover camping this summer is close to zero because of the rise in variants of concern, board chairman Garry Roehr said.
